This is a mosaic of Carlsbad (North of San Diego.) There are four separate aerial photographs (from Aerial Fotobank Inc.) mosaiced together using the feathering option in ER Mapper. They are very high resolution aerial photographs.

This image was created using ER Mapper. The aerial photographs were georeferenced using the Geo-SPOT image of the Carlsbad area. The Geo-SPOT was provided by the MIL (Map and Imagery Lab) at UC Santa Barbara and was imported into ER Mapper. The four georeferenced aerial photos were made into a mosaic algorithm. This algorithm was viewed on the Indigo 2 SGI, "Mufasa" at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. The screen image was captured and you are viewing a low resolution version of that.
