- Earthwatch, these people are more concerned with environmental issues but they do have many interesting projects.
- ENC, Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Science and Mathematics Education, look here for most everything available for science and math.
- Florida EXPLORES!, this page has a great layout and there are many projects here worth a closer look. Besides how can you go wrong with a URL that starts with "thunder"?
- GLOBE, this project has the tackiest name of them all. Go here to find what the name stands for and all of the things they have to offer.
- Hawaii Space Grant Consortium, a joint effort by several schools. See if you can figure out what land mass is depicted on the image.
- NSF, aren't these guys the ones with the money? This will link you to NSF homepage. The interesting information is in the Geoscience section.
- DRIG, Dallas Remote Imaging Group. This slow (full screen GIF's are definitely a no-no) page has links to many sources of earth science information.
- ESRI, Environmental Systems Research Institute. The makers of ArcView has a great page with lots of pictures. If you can figure out where to click there is actually quite a bit of useful information here.
- Macro Press, a commercial site with great information on the current national science curriculum and Standards.
- NOAA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. This page has quite a bit of earth science data. Be sure to look at the National Geophysical Data Center section.
