this is the first time seeing the Earth from 100 miles above the surface. At right, students
attempt to make a 3-dimensional drawing of the photo using
isometric dot paper.
Students try to draw 3-D pictures of Mount Saint Helens before and after
the 1980 eruption. For some of these students the eruption took place before they were born.
