Spacial Visualization

Welcome to Spacial Visualization. In this unit we will try to connect the three dimensional world with the flat two dimensional reprsentations of the world.
The real world has width, length, and depth - 3D. But when we look at pictures, drawings, or photographs, we are looking at three dimensional objects on a flat two dimensional piece of paper or screen.

How does our brain know to see the picture as 3D?
