Ronald G. Blom, a research geologist specializing in spacecraft remote sensing, is and Adjunct Professor of Geological Sciences at San Diego State University and a Scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He specializes in the use of Earth imagery to solve problems in tectonics and natural disasters at JPL and is one of the people that helped discover the lost city of Ubar.
